I am:

• a multi-lingual scholar with more than 13 years of teaching experience,

• a journalist and writer with more than 15 years in international affairs and reconciliation broadcasting,

• teaching journalism, media impact analysis and bias research,

• lecturer at University of New York in Prague/Empire State College and at Charles University, and  external faculty member at Christian Leadership College of Latvia.

• writing my PhD research in Applied Theology at the IBTS (w. University of Wales).

I am:

a former editor at Radio Free Europe; before that I was editor of New York-based Latvian-American newspaper Laiks (Time). I also have worked as Prague reporter for Latvian Public TV. As a long-time advocate of peacemaking and a volunteer worker for reconciliation projects I continue to write on issues of media ethics, human rights, and religious freedom for The Epoch Times, The New Presence, and other publications.

• I am consulting business people, government officials and NGOs on communal conflict prevention.

• My diagnostic methodology of subtle forms of hate-speech has been successfully used by EU government institutions.
